How to serve 7 bottles of wine to a table of 16 people?
What is the best way to serve 7 different kinds of wine bottle to a table of 16 people in a regular restaurant. Everyone has one glass. Are you going to go one by one and explain them what kind of wine they have and pour for them? ok. after you poured how would you refill. Because you dont know what they have had. What if they have a little drink in their glasses and your goal is to finish the bottles faster?
I guess the best thing to do is just describe them all first, and then go around and ask what which they’d like. Have another person help you and set them all on a cart and go around the table. Maybe keep a pad of paper and check off a diagram of the table and number each wine 1-7, and write down at each seat which number wine they had, and constantly look around at see who is running out, then look at where they are seated, and look at your chart, see which wine it is, and then go refill their glass.
That sounds like the easiest, and ONLY, way that I would do things. Hope this helps.
