Queston about storage of screw top wine bottles?
I notice more and more wines have screw tops, not just the cheap ones. What is the proper way to store an unopened bottle of wine with a screw top.
I’m guessing the temperature would be the same but is it necessary to store it on it’s side since you are not concerned about keeping the cork wet?

Thanks but I mentioned that the bottles have never been opened.
Wine bottles with natural cork stoppers are stored on thier side to prevent the cork from drying out. A screw top is not going to let air in from drying because it isn’t made from cork it’s made from metal or plastic. You can store a screw top any way you like.
